Am Rande der historischen Innenstadt von Ratingen liegt an zentraler Stelle das Stadtion mit seiner Fußballspielfläche und den leichtathletischen Anlagen. Es ist Austragungsort für Schul- oder Vereinswettkämpfe bis hin zu internationalen Wettkämpfen (Mehrkampfmeeting Ratingen oder DFB Länderspiele). Die Zuschauerkapazität reicht für bis zu 5.000 Personen.

Anfahrt

Aus Düsseldorf kommend: Über die A52 Richtung Essen, Abfahrt Ratingen-Kaiserswerth. An der Ausfahrt links, nächste Ampel rechts, immer geradeaus an McDonald’s vorbei, über die Süd-Dakota-Brücke. Hinter der Brücke erste Ampel links, danach sofort wieder links in den Stadionring. Parken ist hinter der Realschule möglich. Weitere Parkplätze stehen in ausreichender Menge, an der Eissporthalle (Am Sandbach, s.Karte), zur Verfügung. Von dort aus kann das Stadion zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreicht werden.

Aus allen anderen Richtung: Am besten Autobahn A52 bis Abfahrt Ratingen-Tiefenbroich/Lintorf. An der Abfahrt weiter Richtung Ratingen. Dritte Ampel rechts in den Stadionring einbiegen, dann weiter wie oben beschrieben.

Seit Anfang 2012 steht uns mit dem Stadtwerke Sportpark (ehemals Keramag) das modernste Spiel-und Trainingszentrum im Kreis Mettmann zur Verfügung. Er ist Trainings- und Spielbetrieb sämtlicher Jugend- und Seniorenmannschaften:

Die wichtigsten Eckdaten der Bezirkssportanlage sind:

  • modernes Funktionsgebäude
  • zwei Fußballspielfelder mit Kunstrasen
  • einem Hockeyspielfeld mit Kunstrasen
  • 1.000 Meter lange Finnbahn

  • umfangreiche Sanitäreinrichtungen
